EDEN  brings together more than 200 SMEs from the defense and security sectors.  With its strong regional roots and its ability to unite innovative players at  both the national and European levels, it serves as a driving force for the  Defense Industrial and Technological Base (BITD).

GICAT, an industry association founded in 1978, has over 470 members who include major corporations, mid-cap companies, SMEs and start-ups. Our members cover a broad spectrum of industrial, research, service and consulting activities for national and international military and civilian forces involved in land and air-land security and defence.

The global outreach of GICAT and our members is achieved through the international trade exhibitions – EUROSATORY in France and ExpoDefensa in Colombia – organised by our subsidiary COGES Events, and through the French pavilions we federate each year at around ten defence and/or security trade exhibitions abroad.

In 2017, we launched our own accelerator for start-ups, Generate, marking a pioneering initiative in the French defence and security ecosystem. Generate currently supports the development of 70 businesses.
